Benedict Cumberbatch & Harrison Ford on The Graham Norton Show
Anthony Ingruber will star alongside legendary actor Harrison Ford (Star Wars) who plays the role of William in the epic romance drama “The Age of Adaline.” The film also stars Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) as Adaline and Ellen Burstyn (Requiem For A Dream) as Flemming.
"The Age of Adaline" is about a young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, who is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality.
"It was an incredible experience working on ‘Age of Adaline’ with a fantastic director, crew and cast including my childhood hero Harrison Ford," Anthony said about being cast in his big break feature film role.
Witness (1985) - dir. Peter Weir
Witness is hailed for its balance of thrilling suspense-drama and poignant romance. But the drama isn’t all that thrilling, the young Amish boy who witnesses a murder… well, that part of the story immediately takes a backseat so Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis can have an Amish/non-Amish ho-down in the barn while squaredancing to a stolen radio.
The film’s a little too beach-ready for me, I suppose.
